Saturday, September 5, 2015 - As I have usually found the least impressive of the three La Las. It is designed to combine the best of Mouline and Landonne but winds up falling between two stools. What it does have is a dense and gritty mid palate, huge power and concentration, and kinky exotic overtones and New World exuberance. There is little balance and not a lot of complexity here, and no personality or finesse either; just unalloyed power. Clinical and soulless.
