Thursday, March 17, 2016 - Tasted next to 2001 La Mouline and La Landonne. More backbone compared to La Mouline a bit more meaty, spicier with more dark fruit, less floral. On the palate certainly more backward with more powerful, but nevertheless ripe and polished tannins. On the palate lots of fruit, structure and acidity in near perfect balance. Wonderful lift to the super persistent finish. Not only my favourite of the three LaLas, but also my WOTN. Approachable, but I would keep La Turque (and La Landonne) a bit longer. 96-98
