Friday, March 30, 2012 - Non-blind. Had immediately.
Light red, small nose with touch of brett. Elegant, balanced, complex, medium-bodied wine with (M-) tannins and small notes of sweaty horse and emerging maturity. A true gem.
The 2003 was Bordeaux in style. This one seems much more like an elegant Châteaunef du Pape... Am curious as to what some years in the cellar will do to it. Ahh! Anticipation :-)
