Sunday, August 23, 2009 - Nose is strongly black cherry and nice level of oak. Mouth feel wasn't as smooth as I feel merlot should be. Palate of cherry, black pepper and tannins - there doesn't seem to be the fruit necessary to eventually integrate the tannins. Probably not going to get any better.
