Saturday, August 11, 2018 - Lychee jumps out of the glass. Some people around the table thought it was a riesling but for me it can't get any more Gewürztraminer than this on the nose. Color is dark gold. In the mouth it has allot of weight and viscous. The taste is not very spicy but the lychee and tropical fruits are very present. Still can understand how one can get this much concentration of tropical fruit from pressed grape. It is not dry for sure and would have actually made a good desert wine instead of drinking in the beginning of the meal.
