Friday, December 4, 2015 - This is exactly as advertised: baby Schramsberg. There is nowhere near the depth, richness or complexity of the vintage wines, but the character is clearly the same, if a little lighter here, more playful. It's still $20, so it's not actually a lot cheaper, and at this price point other CA sparklers like Roederer and Scharffenberger offer similarly broad distribution and perhaps slightly higher quality, but it's a nice sip all the same.
