Saturday, January 24, 2015 - Still surprisingly youthful, yet pretty simple. Still star bright and light yellow with clear meniscus, but mostly tart lemon on the palate. Nonetheless, was appreciated at the 70th birthday party gathering I brought this to share. TOP TIP: most wine geeks only bring red wines to gatherings. However, when lots of spouses and unknown drinkers are going to be present, I always bring a white wine to share (usually along with a red, too), which is usually greatly appreciated. On 2 or 3 occasions, the white I brought ended up eclipsing all of the varied reds assembed (think 14-year old magnum of Grand Cru Chablis!). Have fun!
