Friday, October 3, 2014 - Very lively, very archtypical mature syrah; needs air, but then comes around as a sort of mini-côte-rôtie with olives, bacon, game and garrigue. I am loving this wine, it really has a sense of place and while it is mature, it is by no means tired or declining. Optimum drinking right now, I would say, in my experience, these wines will keep but not get better after 10 og so years. (with P & J, Odden)
