Sunday, May 27, 2012 - Under the capsule, a typically nasty, totally-soaked cork... but the wine is delightful: medium burnished gold in color, with long, slow legs in the glass. Pungent petrol and musky tropical flowers on the nose. Slightly oily and viscous on the tongue, with honey, waxy apple, some citrus and pineapple. Slightly muddled flavors, but with a long, lingering finish. Picked this up a few years ago for a whopping $12 per bottle - no complaints.
