Tuesday, August 29, 2017 - Wines of Good Hope: Summer 2017; 7/29/2017-9/14/2017 (River's Inlet, British Columbia): Smoky and savoury nose with a lot of struck match. Saffron and a bit of botrytis. Honeysuckle and white florals. Palate is overripe tropical fruit. A very fun bottle in excellent shape, purchased from the leftovers of the Wolfgang Grunewald sale, and accordingly proper.
