Wednesday, September 11, 2019 - In surprisingly good shape. The nose has lifted notes of cloves and blueberries with some more complex iodine and underbrush coming through. The palate is an open - knit affair, a little soupy but punctuated with plenty of tart cranberries and a little menthol which gives character. Punchy spices and meat stock on the finish. Rakish tannins. Imperfect but lovely.
