Tuesday, March 5, 2019 - Mid copper colour. Lovely round, sweet nose, lots of biscuit and caramel, some peach. Plenty of acidity on the palate, as expected at the red end of the spectrum again, a very strong hibiscus and rosehip note, even a touch of blackcurrant. Crisp, rich, but not at all heavy. Moderately shrunken cork but no sign of age. [Cork + cage; 12.5% abv; Sainsbury's, on offer at £37].
