Saturday, February 14, 2015 - Had at a syrah tasting. Really enjoyed this wine. Nice dark fruit balanced with some earthy, old leather characteristics. Fantastic burst of black pepper on the palate. This was the first Cabot Syrah I've tried but will definitely seek out more.

2/16/2015 12:20:00 PM - Cabot does some nice wines for a reasonable price. I get some every year. I have held off drinking the Aria's because notes said drink the Kimberley's first and save the Aria's. I agree on the more restrained old world nature, whereas Kimberly's had more of the bacon fat fruit, that was going on two years ago, so it may have developed similar characteristics.
