Monday, March 15, 2010 - Dark crimson color with a blunt nose at first, but reveals rose petals, cocoa powder and leather after some aeration. It's a very subdued, backward wine that peaks at the onset, and then just then glides forward far and wide - filling the whole palate with an even coating of black cherry, currant, oak and vanilla. Very seductive and silky, ending in a long, refined finish. Drink from 2010 to 2020.
