An overwhelming disappointment. This was tired, baked, stewed, short and simply monstrously dull. A glass was consumed, the rest went into the cooking. I don't think this was faulty, but rather another victim of 2007 in Chateauneuf, much like 2003 or (to some extent) 1998. A wine to be drunk while young for all it's exuberant and OTT energy.
