Friday, September 1, 2023 - Garnet brick in color. Beautiful aromas of red berry liquor, spicecake, lavender, herbs and hint of forest floor. A medium to full bodied palate reveals sweet crushed red berries, baking spices, medium (-) acidity, and a long herbal/fruity finish. I had low hopes for this 2007 - but this was quite good. Perhaps serving it slightly cooler helped as well.
