Saturday, March 27, 2010 - A few 2007 Chateauneuf du Papes in Highlands: Whoa! This is the real deal. I drank this next to a Charvin and a Prefert Favier, and I for my taste, this was the best. The Ferrand had a soaring red fruit profile and was loaded with Southern Rhone markers like sage, aromatic dry bushes, Mediterranean spices, and lavender petals. It was wrapped in a wonderful and firm earth elemental mineral blanket. This is awesome and will get better.
