Thursday, September 3, 2020 - Drank over rib eye steak as the lock down enters month 6 and continues to decimate my cellar.

Beautiful medium ruby appearance. Tried to find some lightening after 12 years or so in the bottle, but couldn't find any.

Evolved and pronounced aromas of cherry liqueur (kirsch), baking spice, and plenty of herbal elements- thyme, so called garrigue etc. In a bind tasting the aroma would be unmistakeable.

Full bodied on the palate with lost of similar flavor characteristics, decent (say medium) acidity and a long savory finish.
This is a very concentrated wine that still has plenty of life. I would drink now, but wouldn't worry about holding for another 5+ years in a cold cellar.

This bottle was purchased on release and stored properly since.
