Sunday, June 19, 2011 - Tarry nose with top notes of new oak, almonds and coconut over pure high-definition syrah fruit. Impressive taste, palate-staining ink and violets, yet very suave and polished tannins. Long finish, with aromas that unfold like a pheasant's tail. Great drinkability at this early stage. Obviously there are pros at work in the new winemaking team.
