Wednesday, June 26, 2013 - Glengarry Wines - "Superstars of the Rhone Valley" tasting (Glengarry Wines and Spirits, Victoria Park, Auckland, New Zealand): Modern and polished nose of plums, ripe cherries, sweet oak, Gorgeous rich warm flavors. Game and leathery nuance in a velvet smooth texture. This is an easy going (but still complex and age-worthy) modern style that shows the producer moving ahead. Excellent wine.
