Thursday, December 1, 2016 - Everybody thought this wine was "over the hill", but I found it to be alive and vibrant with exceptional depth and character for an '05. Beautiful black currant/cherry nose leading to layers of intense flavor and depth. Geyser Peak has always done a great job with their "special selection" wines since being taken over by the "Aussies" and this proves to be another proof to the pudding.
