Thursday, March 27, 2014 - Dusi is such a perplexing vineyard. When good it can be really good and when bad, it's like drinking grandma's prune juice. This was one of the good bottles. Ripe, yes, but also showing restraint. Spicy, ripe fruit nose with a very syrah-like pepper notes in the palate. More raspberry and cherry than prune. Critically, it dries up a bit on the finish and finishes a bit dry.
