Sunday, November 21, 2021 - Had over two days. Mid-yellow. Tinned peach, a little bit of ginger and mandarin peel, earthy as distinct from minerally. My nose initially detected what I thought was a smattering of botrytis, but this wasn't subsequently confirmed. In the mouth, the wine showed that it was still in its fairly straightforward primary phase, with the Treppchen yellow peach taking some time to reveal the level of its generosity and density. Lively finish. The palpable spritzig on both days tells me that this is early days for this very good plus wine.
