Saturday, December 19, 2015 - The Old Lakeville needed about 2 hours after opening to get settled in. Was initially a little jammy and thick. Be patient, after a quick taste put the bottle aside. The Syrah opened up in to a beautifully integrated brooding rasblackberry with ripe dark fruit undertones that meanders down the palate over small light tannin's with the lighter notes holding the pitch longest. This is a wonderful wine.
