Saturday, August 7, 2010 - Medium-to-deep ruby with red rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense aromas of red cherries, underbrush and roasted herbs. Medium-to-full-bodied on the palate, with low-to-medium acidity, medium but slightly coarse tannins and flavors similar to the nose. The middle is full and the finish is medium in length, albeit somewhat coarse and hot. Rustic, but quite nice. This is a wine which will likely benefit from short-term cellaring. Drink 1/12-12/15.
