Sunday, January 3, 2016 - Red fruit here - cherry and cranberry. Some pepper and smoke as well as some meaty notes too. Good acidity and resolving tannins but a little rustic. Not quite the depth of the 2006, but streets ahead of the Delas Cote Rotie from 2007. Solid. Drink now with a 2 hour airing or hold for up to 5 years.
