Wednesday, February 1, 2012 - inky black, purple, opaque. Nse of black cherries, herbs. The palate quite poronouced, rich and mouthfilling. Moderate acidity but still very fresh. Tannis soft and not introusive. Black cherries, ripe plums, garrique and a hint of black olive. Complex, involving and layered. A longish finish. For what it is, it is an excellent wine. I think the lack of acidity may impact on its lifespan but certainly, no problem for the next five years.
