Saturday, June 4, 2011 - This wine seemed off...not corked, just off compared to the many. bottles I've had before. We all commented how "hot" the wine was especially for a 12 year old Napa Cab. It literally never seemed to open up and it was decanted and drunk over 2-3 hours. It seemed to have the muscle to handle the Peppercorn Crusted Strip I had for dinner. Had this along with a '97 Marcassin, '75 Latour, and '86 Caymus Cuvee at Seagars in Destin with wife and friends. The Latour was in a whole other world. It well out classed the competition and proved great bordeauxs can age well.
