It literally never seemed to open up and it was decanted and drunk over 2-3 hours. It seemed to have the muscle to handle the Peppercorn Crusted Strip I had for dinner. Had this along with a '97 Marcassin, '75 Latour, and '86 Caymus Cuvee at Seagars in Destin with wife and friends. The Latour was in a whole other world. It well out classed the competition and proved great bordeauxs can age well.
