Monday, September 21, 2009 - Medium depth garnet. Typical merlot aromas of plums and herbs combined with rubbery/animal notes typical of South African wines. Mid-bodied and austere, very old-world in style, with subtle fruit, firm tannins and high acidity. Fairly long but rather flat aftertaste. Not special.
