Wednesday, February 29, 2012 - Nose: Raspberry, Strawberry, Cola, Cherry, Chinese Five Spice and burned wood. Very big nose on this. Palate: Very dense, but silky on the palate. Black Cherry, Raspberry and racy wildberry notes. Nice layers of spice and dark red fruit that is delivered with great precision. Finish: Lingering finish of Black Cherry tart, baking spices and rhubarb. Not a palate crusher, just a very nice modern pinot. Awesome drink.
