Monday, March 5, 2012 - Pop-n-pour although no detailed notes taken. Interesting wine, showing quite dark for a pinot. Initially heavy on the palate and disjointed, showing cranberry and cherry on entry, followed by some earthy/stemminess, then bitter greens on the finish. With about an hour's air, the flavors all start to meld into something more complex than the sum of its parts. Quite nice by then, but the heaviness kept it from becoming ethereal.
