Thursday, January 28, 2021 - The End of the Golden Weather: a pre-COVID-19 Visit to Central Otago in Autumn 2020: I served the two Bonnes Mares as a pair double blind. The pair of Bonnes Mares were a clear step up from the two previous 1ers. Very much a 2007 Grand Cru rouge. A strictness, precision and austerity from the white Morey soil, but with generosity and savoury detail. Preferred by all. No hurry to drink.
