Saturday, September 28, 2013 - Tasted alongside the Mortet Gevrey Chambertin 2007 village. This one is everything the village wine is, but a bit more. More concentration, more power, more complex nose and palate, darker, more mystical, like walking in a dark dark forest at night with owls howling and stuff. Perfect! Read my tasting note for the village wine for all the praise this wine deserves. This is no doubt the best wine of the night.
