Tuesday, July 31, 2007 - When in Romanée... (Eleven Madison Park): What a difference a year makes. Fragrant funk on the nose, horsey but also a little sweet. More sticky and savory in the mouth than any of the preceding wines but so pure and harmonious, textbook 1999.
