88 Points

Saturday, August 1, 2009 - 87-88 Clear, pale yellow. The nose at first does not give up too much - but initially very grassy, earthy, with hint of tangerine citrus - then showing a note of pear nectar, citrus and lime on the very edges. The dry palate is round focused and clear and again initially grassy but with air develops flavors of tangerine rind, high toned pepper and ginger spice and asparagus. Decent but not racy acidity. Note of saline on the back end. Good sauvignon. Will take a minute to settle down, may even decant. Not to cold. Very good with light spicy faire. Decent QPR.
