Saturday, April 27, 2013 - Medium in garnet color, with aromas of cherries and rose petal. Palate shows typical Sta. Rita aromas, particularly of this great vineyard. Medium in body, but lots of complexity with flavors of Bing cherry, a touch of wild strawberry, seashell and a nice acidic backbone. Drinking well now, but will improve for quite a while in the cellar.
