Sunday, March 28, 2010 - I don't like Malbec. All too often it produces a spicy, full, medicine flavoured wine that is no different to cheap over ripe shiraz. This one is different. Plum and spice aromas that are enticing and a finish that is all about smoothness and flavour. This wine has a healthy dose of smoke and blackberry that fades into smooth cherries on the finish. It isn't a world beater but it's pretty good.
