Friday, November 9, 2007 - Still reasoanble depth to the colour, though is showing clear orange at the rim.
Subtle nose (better from a burgundy glass than bordeaux). A touch of tobacco and slightly woody gamey fruit. Better than it sounds but not overly expressive.
The palate is fine, with decent, even refreshing acidity. Quite backward fruit, with a touch of tobacco and perhaps some camphor as it warms. It's all surprisingly elegant with subtle complexity.
