Friday, February 4, 2022 - This Medium-bodied wine is drinking well at this time. Predominantly Red fruit with earth and underbrush flavors tones. This is not a dark or heavy wine at all but quite lively. Still getting some acid on the moderately complex finish with an elegant presence. Will likely improve somewhat over the next 5 years or so but quite enjoyable now. Good depth of fruit in the mid-palate. This is not a lightweight wine even though it's a 2007 red Burgundy. Minerals dance on your tongue after the swallow. Very nice wine indeed.
