Wednesday, March 30, 2016 - Decanted for about 90 minutes. Enjoyed over a couple of hours.

This has been in the cellar for several years; just decided to give it a whirl. Don't know much about it, but was thoroughly enjoyable. Dark ruby. Red fruit profile; a little purple. Old leather. Medium to medium + weight. Very balanced and well composed finish. Some grip still left in tannins.

This is getting right into its prime for me. It did not drop off at all over the evening. I think it can perhaps improve a little with a few years, and overall still has plenty of life.
