Thursday, May 1, 2014 - Lay and Wheeler 2008 and 2001 Claret (Glazier's Hall, London): Ripe, a touch jammy, youthful, red and blue fruits, vanilla, cream. Medium/full, soft and layered on the mid-palate with creamy red and blue fruit, medium acidity, some harsh tannins dominate the finish which also shows a touch of heat. OK. **.
