Tuesday, April 21, 2015 - Quite a showing of this perfectly ready to consume grand cru. Never reaching the complexity of the very greats, this nonetheless unfolded with regal tones of plum, dark cherry, earthy roots, oak and smokey overtones. And with time, the wine began to take on richer, purple mysterious colors and flavors. A hint of anise and but also a velvety red/ almost black cherry/ plum voyage with breeding. Wonderfully silky too.
