Friday, June 8, 2012 - shared with pat at selkirk manor. consistent with other commentators, i am impressed with the rich dark purple color indicating a wine of both youth and substance. on the nose, this is a sugar plum fairy enhanced by a chocolate coating. good follow through on the palate with firm body and firm structure. although quite enjoyable, i fear that this bottle was opened too soon and that additional bottle age will allow the wine to develop greater complexity. will have to see if there is any more on the shelf at the retailer.
