Wednesday, November 4, 2009 - Had ruby / light cherry red color to it. Smell was tart cherries, with earth and cinnamon as well. The taste had tartness, strawberry licorice, and a slightly jammy tone to it. It finished tart as well, not very tannic and somewhat dry. Overall, it had a nice balance of earthiness and jam/fruit, but was a bit too tart for my taste. It was missing something to take it to another level and I would not purchase another at this price point.
