Saturday, September 10, 2016 - Classic claret nose and palate with some polished blackcurrant fruit and tobacco, but never showy or glossy. Very traditional, minerality adds finesse, quite medium bodied with silky tannins and a real floral lift towards the middle palate. I've had quite a few 08s that have surpassed my expectations. This will continue to improve.
