Sunday, June 15, 2014 - I expected something flamboyant, but what I got was elegance in a softly tannic frame. The nose was subtle with pure black cherry. Well balanced with ripe dark fruit, minerals, and acidity creating a velvety texture. It ends long with a final hit of tannins and punctuated by a shot of acidity.
