Friday, January 5, 2024 - Plums, black cherry, plenty of sweet spice, vanilla, a little coconut, a touch of raisin, leather, smidge of meatiness and some herbaceous notes on the nose. The palate is impressively sweet fruit, especially with some air and despite the age. Woody tannins are powdery, plenty of sweet spice, vanilla, a little herbaceous underpin on the back palate, long. Rather nice and a lot better than I remember this being. Yum.
