Tuesday, May 15, 2018 - Wine tasting and dinner with Sofia Thanisch at Corney & Barrow HO, London. With dinner.
Forward, lighter style than most of the wines at this tasting/dinner. Lantern fruit and ripe pineapple. Glycerine and granite. Acid balance makes this feel medium dry. While undoubtedly excellent, a little hollowness and a touch of greenness prevents a higher mark.
Not for the long haul - for drinking 15 years from vintage.
