94 Points

Sunday, November 26, 2017 - Very youthful nose displaying crushed blackberry, cherry, a hint of coffee, rose and earth. Excellent concentration, packed black fruit, bright acidity, noticeable but fine tannins and a long intense black fruit driven finish. IMO, Charmes Chambertin is about the rich concentrated fruit and this is no exception. It will need another decade of cellaring to add the tertiary complexity and sweetness. Really promising. I agree wholeheartedly with THE VINES THAT BIND’s assessment.
