Monday, July 4, 2005 - Opened for two hours, but not decanted. Tons of deep red fruit, plum, cherry and spice. Veyr fruit forward. Continued to open as we drank it, but consumed too fast to really see it develop. Consumed with soy marinated flank steak from the grill. A bit overwhelmed by the soy, but the pepper and spice came through with ther second course. Drinking well now.. probably no more than two more year left on this on - drink sooner rather than later.
